A spinoff series, Dance Moms: Miami, set in Miami at Victor Smalley and Angel Armas' dance studio, Stars Dance Studio, premiered on April 3, 2012, and was cancelled in September 2012 after eight episodes. On October 10, 2012, Lifetime announced that they had picked up Dance Moms for a third season, consisting of 26 episodes, which debuted on January 1, 2013.

LUX Dance India Dance Doubles or DID Doubles is the third season of the reality dance show Dance India Dance that airs on the Indian satellite television channel Zee TV. The show has been produced by UTV Software Communications and has become India's largest dance-based reality show. The show is choreographed by some of the most popular Indian choreographers, such as Marzi Pestonji, Rajeev Surti and Geeta Kapoor. Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty is the grandmaster of the show. The show's title track was composed by Adil and Prashant. In India the show airs every Saturday and Sunday. Outside India it airs every Saturday and Sunday.
Dance on Sunset is a dance and music series hosted by Quddus on Nickelodeon that featured dance routines, called the "Fresh-Squeezed Dance", designed to be performed by its pre-teen and teen-age viewers. Choreographer Tony Testa and the show's dance troupe, the Nick 6, demonstrated each routine slowly, repeating it several times during the episode. An "advanced" version of each routine was featured on the show's website. Episodes featured musical guests, which included Akon, Natasha Bedingfield, Miranda Cosgrove, Fall Out Boy, Fergie, Janet Jackson, Sean Kingston, Lil' Mama, Jesse McCartney, Menudo, Omarion, Panic! at the Disco and Ashlee Simpson, as well as dancing by a studio audience. The show premiered March 29, 2008, immediately after the 2008 Kids' Choice Awards. The name 'On Sunset' came from the production location Nickelodeon On Sunset on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. The show was cancelled due to low viewership. The series finale aired on June 21, 2008. As of Friday, August 24, 2012 the website is still running.
Dance India Dance Li'l Masters is a new dance reality show that launched on Zee TV from April 30, 2010. The tag line of the show is Dance Ke Baap. The show timings are Fri-Sat 9.30 pm. This show is the third in the sequence after Dance India Dance Seasons 1 and 2. Salman Khan from Bangalore won the first season while Shakti Mohan from Delhi won the second season. After weeks of fierce competition, the winner of the show will be crowned as the 'Best Child Dancing Sensation'. While the winners of the first two seasons won Taqdeer ki Topi, these little dancing wonders will win The Golden Super Wings and the KB3 cup. The show is considered to be the ultimate dance competition for kids aged 5–13. The show's title track is composed and produced by the new upcoming music duo Adil-Prashant. They have also created music for the previous seasons of Dance India Dance. Jeetumoni Kalita Is the winner for Dance India Dance Li'l Masters. Atul became first runner up with Vaishnavi in toe and Manoj following them in fourth place. It's season 2 also came in which Faisal Khan from Mumbai won.Dance India Dance Season 2 Finale on 12 August proved a very lucky occasion for Prince Ki Palton Star Faisal Khan from Mumbai. A very intense and passionate finish to the evening brought the crown to the best of the Top 5 Finalists. The first runner up of DID Little Masters season 2 was Om Chetry while Rohan Parkale was declared second runner up. Soumya Rai stood at No. 4 and Jeet Das at No. 5
